As stated in section 3.2 of this report, the Academic Committee of this Doctoral Programme may in this case make admission conditional on the completion of additional training of up to a maximum of 30 ECTS credits in subjects from the Master's Degree in Research in Information and Communication Technologies offered by the University of Valladolid or from another Master's Degree related to ICT offered by the University of Valladolid.
In this sense, the training complements may be required for students who have taken their previous studies in areas related to Information and Telecommunications Technologies. The complements will allow the acquisition of advanced knowledge in the area of ICT, which may be necessary for the development of a doctoral thesis in ICT.
At this moment of elaboration of the verification report, the only Master offered by the University of Valladolid is the University Master in Research in Information and Communication Technologies by the University of Valladolid (MUI-TIC). The Academic Committee will choose the complementary courses among the current offer of subjects of the Master (see http://www.tel.uva.es/docencia/planes/mitic.htm#plan for its academic organisation), according to the profile of the applicant for admission to the doctoral programme.
The Academic Committee may consider other training complements from the syllabus of another Master's programme offered in the future by the University of Valladolid.
