Requirements for the presentation and defence of doctoral theses at the University of Valladolid
In accordance with the provisions of article 3.2 of the Regulations for the presentation and defence of the doctoral thesis at the University of Valladolid, as accreditation of the quality of the thesis, at least one contribution related to the doctoral thesis "that meets any of the criteria of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) for the recognition of research sections" must be presented.
The following contributions have been specified for theses submitted to the programme:
- Journal article: the article must be published in a journal indexed in the Jornal Citation Reports at any rank.
- Patent: Patents or other forms of industrial or intellectual property protection (registration of plant varieties, utility models, computer programmes, etc.) in exploitation demonstrated by means of a sales contract or licensing contract, and patents granted by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office through the prior examination system will be recognised. Patents must be granted national, European or international protection.
